BOARD MEMBER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Terry (Board Member) and Carol DeGraff(Executive Director)

Terry and Carol have 3 adult children, and 2 grandchildren. Serving with COC for over 25 years, they love the vision to reach the needy and have been on most of the Outreach Trips. Terry serves on the Board, and Carol became Executive Director in 2017 when George Wakeling retired. Terry is a graphic designer by trade, and loves to draw and hike. Carol loves hanging out with her friends, kids and grandkids.

BOARD MEMBER & DIRECTOR OF HOPE BEYOND BORDERS

Hugh lives with his wife Marlene in San Clemente. Hugh has served in the nonprofit world for over 35 years, with organizations ranging from Native American causes to foster children programs and parenting projects. He is heading up Hope Beyond Borders, which procures and distributes donated medical supplies to the underserved. He has obtained hundreds of thousands of dollars of brand new medical supplies and equipment and donated them to the needy. He has resourced COC with first aid supplies and more for our Tijuana ministries and local clinics serving the poor and homeless. 

BOARD MEMBER & DIRECTOR OF HOPE FOR THE HIGH DESERT

Jim and his wife Pam live in Apple Valley, CA and have 1 daughter and 2 granddaughters.  Jim also has a son from a prior marriage. Jim and Pam serve the homeless community through Hope For the High Desert by providing meals, clothes and other supplies on a regular basis. They serve with the Warming Center in Victorville, and the Rescue Center where they help run a mobile shower system for the homeless. Jim is accomplished in all types of construction and has used his skills on most every COC mission trip.

BOARD MEMBER

Tommy and his wife Alyssa live in Fallbrook, CA. with their two children., Atticus and Gwendolyn.  Alyssa and Tommy have served as missionaries in Liverpool, United Kingdom and pastored a church in Fallbrook. California. He now works as a Patient Advocate Manager with a Behavioral Health Hospital. Tommy loves people and has a heart to help the poor and needy.  Tommy is also a talented musician and writer.

BOARD MEMBER

Lara is a retired science and math teacher and a current granny-nanny to her three grandchildren. She and her husband, Greg HAVE three daughters, three son-in-laws and four grandbabies. She enjoys spending time with her family playing games or playing outdoors. She also enjoys raising farm animals, reading, writing and doing or writing logic puzzles. She has volunteered with her church as a Pastor of Care as well as being part of the teaching team. She has a passion for spreading the love of Jesus and sharing the Gospel in Fallbrook and beyond.

COC STAFF MISSIONARY

Eli is a Missionary with Circle of Concern as an ambassador and coordinates our partnerships and mission trips to Mexico. She lives in Mexico and brings her passion for Jesus and skills in planning and communication to the team. Eli raises her own support and trusts Jesus to provide for her daily living expenses and housing every year.
