Church Planting in Mexico

Circle of Concern has been partnering with Pastors Nacho and Mizuco since they first planted their church in 2013. We love their approach … being the church by building relationships and caring for people in their community. The congregation has both English and Spanish speakers and so each service is translated and streamed on their Facebook page each week.

Agape is currently meeting on a small piece of land in Mezcales they they have been leasing for over 10 years. They have accomplished a lot with a little, but they have always had it in their heart to own property to make a long lasting impact. In early 2025 their dreams were realized when they purchased property in San Vicente, a close by community where hundreds and hundreds of condos are being built. Most of these will house the locals, many poor, who work in and around the resorts on the beautiful Mexican coastline.

This past May, our Circle of Concern team hosted a large fiesta on the brand new property that has an amazing tree (pictured below) that provides so much shade and is a real focal point off the main road. Pastor Nacho and his congregation will be the first Christian church in the neighborhood! Thanks to a few generous Circle of Concern donors, we have been able to already help with bringing utilities to the property.

We now want to help with the foundational work needed to raise the dirt level, compacting and plumbing. Circle of Concern is offering a “matching fund” of up to $10,000 to double your impact. We are hoping to have the funds by 1/31/26 so they can start the work and begin the journey of relocating.
